Official reissue of the first full length album by the Symphonic/Melodic Black Metal band Hecate Enthroned, originally released in 1997. “The Slaughter Of Innocence, A Requiem For The Mighty” alternates violent screraming with acoustic breaks, classical accelerations with more cadenced parts, almost always embellished with guitar arpeggios or melancholic and gothic piano parts, which paint a decadent atmosphere throughout the album.
