COLDNESS / IRAE – we are the ashes – DIGICD

After 19 years from “Our putrefacted essence”’s release, Coldness and Irae teamed up again for a new split release.

Two of the biggest names on the Portuguese Black Metal scene, Vulturius and Nocturnus Horrendus, have nothing to prove and “We are the ashes” is a living proof of that.

This time, Nocturnus Horrendus present us with the return of Coldness. Active during 2004 and 2005, Coldness explores the most aggressive and dissonant side of NH creative mind and in “We are the ashes” we can listen a matured project with refined rawness and an almost ritualistic feeling in its own sonic catharsis. Vulturius in the other face of this split presents us yet another milestone in his vast legacy. Undisputable leader of the Portuguese Raw Black Metal movement, Irae show us once again the mastery with which he creates Black Metal of a superior breed.
