In july 1999 the band gathers for the last time in Lescheraines
(in the french alps) to record what will be his second and last demo.
After recording, the band splits and each members will join the ranks of upcoming emerging bands on the Savoisian scene.

They will never defend or distribute this effort and the tape spend a quarter of a century in the attic before being exhumed, restored and completed in november 2023.

The work that is presented to you is therefore very representative of the times : No clic track, No stereo, No computer facilities .
The raw tracks was captured live on tape, in one shot…. for the best and the worse.

So here we go !
During twenty minutes, the past is alive and svart is really THE color.
This dusted-off antiquity is an humble but passionate tribute to the forces that once drove us .
A must have for all serious Savoisian black metal archeologue.

The name Svartroner is the contraction of “svarte troner”, in reference to the sophomore Burzum album.

During the three years of activity of the band, two demos were recorded and a handful of gigs were done with, among other bands : Himinbjorg, Ilhevs, Count nosferatu….
