The dam built in the post-war years, in a hurry, with inadequate materials and negligence, collapsed shortly after its commissioning. 356 confirmed deaths, plus an uncertain number of missing. “

Skalf is a unique concept inspired by the landscapes of Val di Scalve.
This EP “Vallis Decia-le voci dei dispersi” is focused on the tragedy of Gleno, where a dam collapsed in 1923 and caused hundreds of deaths. Each song has the name of a village swept away by the fury of the water and tells about the Tragedy through the voice of a missing person

Skalf is: Tiziano Valente (guitars, composition) & Filippo Magri (bass, vocals, lyrics). Guest musicians: Abibial from Imago Mortis (vocals on song “Dezzo”), Daniele Valseriati from Tragodia & The Scars in Pneuma (drums), and Simone Grazioli from Hell Spet (all guitar solos)
