Active since 199, Moonlight returns in 2024 with its 5th studio album called “Skogstronen” : produced in the Fredman studio in Göteborg (swe) by Fredrik Nordström (Nordjevel, Lord Belial, Dimmu Borgir) and in the Endarker studio by Devo Andersson (Marduk, Ragnarok, Funeral Mist), Ishtar (Dødsfall, Isolated,Sorrowful…) and Arsnefas deliver True Black Metal at its best

Taking elements from the 90’s Swedish and Norwegian Black Metal scene, “Skogstronen” goes straight to the point : Blasting drums, heavy riffing, heinous vocals. Yet, MOONLIGHT manage to add their own style to their compositions, by adding subtile elements like acoustic breaks, guitar solos and keyboard patterns that will add a more melodic side to tracks like “Mörkriket” or “En Eld Av Hat” .

With “Skogstronen”, MOONLIGHT keeps a great intensity that manages to keep us focused along the 8 songs the album has to offer, and will certainly delight fans of early Immortal, Dark Funeral or Marduk.
