CIRCLE OF OUROBORUS – ajattoman uni – BLACK LP

Ajattoman uni is a sidestep, but it is also some sort of return to our roots.
After more unified and well-thought albums, we wanted to follow our instincts almost blindly, and so we found ourselves among these short bursts of riffs and melodies. There is one part of Celtic Frost and another part of dark rock; sometimes blasting with hate, sometimes drowning in echoes and ethereal atmosphere; songs that you would want to last for a little longer, but everything has been said and done in seconds.
Simple music straight from our hearts—it was our guideline on our first demo tape 20 years ago, and it is still a valid path for us.
Lyrically, Ajattoman uni is a collection of symbols. I took my inspiration from different cultures, folklore, and my subconscious, where the line between dream and reality, abstract and concrete, runs very thin.
Ajattoman uni is a dance where this logic world transforms to something poetic and vision-like, and then back, and then back…
The road of Circle Of Ouroborus has been a road of understanding for us, and we are not there yet.
