Vígljós (Old Norse for the light which is just bright enough to be able to kill a man) was founded in Basel in 2022. As of Summer 2025, it consists of four members from Germany and Switzerland, wielding guitar, drums, mellotron and vocals. They just recorded their second studio album entitled „Tome II: ignis sacer“ at Marc Obrist’s (Zeal & Ardor) Hutch Sounds in Oberwil, BL, publishing being planned for September 2025.

Galibot is a melodic black metal band – but it is also the name given to children who were sent to work in the mines of northern France. And for good reason, as the quintet hails from there. At the beginning of 2026, the band released an alternative version of their first album, entitled ‘Euch’Mau Noir bis’, signed by Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions. Initiated in 2023 by Thomas, Agathe and Clément, the project, initially a studio project, aims to establish a parallel between the raw and visceral dark matter that is coal and black metal music. Wallers-Arenberg, the name of the town where the project was born and which bears the scars of the mining industry, was the demo for what was still only a trio. Following the release of their first album, ‘Euch’Mau Noir’, Galibot decided to try their hand at live performances, and Julian and Rob joined the band. This collaboration ultimately led them to write their second album together, this time as a five-piece, to be released next May on Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions. Galibot will also be hitting the road to offer a cavernous live experience of fire and ashes.

In 2012 Ole (ex-Autokrator) started KHÔRA as a one-man project. After recording a demo in 2016, the band started taking shape as full-time members were then recruited. Vocals were filled by Vasilis Kranos (Savaoth) and Bass was filled by Lars E. Måløy (Dødheimsgard). The full-length debut “TIMAEUS” was released in 2020 with guest members from bands such as Moonsorrow, …And Oceans, Amiensus and others. Before starting the work on the next album “ANANKE”, Vasilis and Lars were replaced by Frédéric (Orakle) and Göran (ex-Setherial, Svartghast), and a new orchestrations man named Kjetil (Profane Burial, Haimad) joined, all ready to unleash their musicianship into the new album ANANKE. This new album was finished in 2024 and includes more guest artists that are well-known in the metal scene, namely; Rune ‘Blasphemer’ Eriksen (ex-Mayhem), Kristian Niemann (ex-Therion), Wolfgang Rothbauer (live Belphegor), André ‘Cosmocrator’ Søgnen (The Wretched End) and others.

Emerging at the end of 2019, Archvile King is the solo project of french multi-instrumentalist Baurus. Drawing from the sharp, biting sounds of retro Thrash and Black Metal, his music fully reflects his inspirations, offering intoxicating melodies over riffs as sharp as rusted steel. After a unashamedly Thrash Metal solo EP, followed by a darker full-length album, Archvile King now pulls us deeper into its world with a new concept album plunging further into the swamps of the King of Worms. With Aux Heures Désespérées, we are drawn into Black Metal infused with shades of Heavy Metal, Thrash, and grandiloquent tones, pulling us down into the depths.
